Why are my Windows Vista gadgets for XP not working?


I have recently purchased a desktop PC with inbuilt windows vista. It was working quite well. But after using it for few days, I have realized that the windows vista gadgets not working with windows XP like the clock, weather etc. I am confused what to do. If any of you have any information or solution to this problem, please help by sending your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.

Sometime windows gadget stop working. There may be different reasons behind it. It may be happening due to some virus or might be some of your OS files are corrupted or because of the software that you have installed recently.

First of all check the status of your antivirus. If it is updated and working very well then try to remember the software that you have recently installed. After that uninstall that software and try to rerun that.

If your gadget resume its services then it is ok. If still not than it is happening due to your OS get corrupted, For that you have to reinstall that. After that Try to install your Microsoft gadget again and check if it is working if yes than now your problemhave removed permanently.
