Can windows update cause fan problem?


Recently I bought this brand new Sony VAIO E-Series laptop and I have already started facing issues in it the first three days of its purchase. I took up my laptop this afternoon and then did nothing to it except updating Windows in it. Just after I had completed the update it turned off by itself. Now the cooling fan is running at its full speed and it never turns off even if I shut my system down, only after I plug it out from power or the battery runs off only then it stops. Is it possible that the update may have caused this problem with the fan? Or is it some hardware problem?

As you said that you are facing problem with your Sony VAIO E-series laptop, the fan of the laptop continuously is running. So I want to tell you that this problem didn’t occur from windows updation, this problem generates due to any hardware failure. So I suggest you to please call the Sony customer care, they will resolve your this problem because your laptop is in the warranty period, contact them they will definitely assist you. They will check the hardware of your laptop and after that they will tell you the problem, so please go to your nearest Sony service center.
