Can Windows 7 64 bit run 32 bit programs?

I have installed this 64 bit Windows, but a lot of programs that I need are not running because they are suited for 32 bit. Is there anything that I can do about it? How do we make Windows 7 64 bit run 32 bit programs by any method?

Most of the software programs and hardware devices that you’ve been using today will work well with the 64-bit editions of the Windows Vista. The best way to come to know that something will work is to look for the Windows Vista logos on the software programs and the hardware devices, which means that they are compatible with both 32-bit and the 64-bit editions of the Windows Vista. If you don't see the logo, check the 64-bit Windows Vista compatibility status and by visiting the windows vista compatibility center. Now, you need to balance your priorities. If your first priority seems to have a PC that can take the advantage of increased memory and new software or hardware, then get on towards the 64-bit PC. On the other side, if the cost apparently seems to be the key concern and you are most probably interested in running down the multiple programs, or if you have the older software and hardware that is not supported by a 64-bit PC, then a 32-bit PC is the only choice left for you. Thank you.
