Has wiki some info on security of flash drive?

I am a business man and I usually travel a lot. I always carry with me flash drive that contains some useful and very sensitive info from business point of view. So I want to know that is there any way by which I can ensure safety of my flash drive so that no one else can view the content in it. I would love to know if wiki has something on this……….

Hi, to protect your flash drive from other user you can make it password protected , which is very common way. You can also encrypt your files so that other user can't be able to view your file. For this encryption I am giving you some steps, Using these steps you can successfully prevent your data steps are:

Open your disk utility then follow the steps:

1. Create an image

2. Make that image size equal to your USB drive, or else you can give whatever size you want to give that can fit into your drive,

3. Make the disk image format as sparseimage

4. Change the default encryption to AES-128 encryption technique

5. Now put all that into your USB drive which you want to make protective

6. Now mount it from your USB drive and whatever files you want to protect put all files there

7. After successfully using , unmount it

Whenever you will add new files the size of sparseimage will increase , And whenever you will delete the file size of sparseimage will decrease

By this way you can protect the contents of your flash drive to be viewed by someone else.

One more thing i want to suggest you that keep backups..!!! That can helpful to you if some wrong thing happens

Hope that my answer satisfied you thoroughly. Thanks
