weather gadgets for windows xp not working?

If all of a sudden your weather gadget stopped working, it might be possiblethat your gadget got corrupted. Try the following steps to solve theproblem and make your weather gadget work fine.

Firstly, you can try reloading or restoring the weather gadget. For this,you need to right click on the gadget and then go to the 'Properties'. Then click on the 'RestoreGadgets' button/tab which is placed at the bottom of the window. Hopefully,this will fix your problem and restore the default settings of your weathergadget.

Still, if doesn’t get restored or properly work, you may change thesystem locale to English (United States). Often, changing system language helpsin fixing the problem and makes the weather gadget work fine. For changing thesystem locale, you need to go to 'Start'tab, click control panel, click on 'clock' tab, then 'Language', then 'Region' andthen finally click on 'Region andlanguage' tab. In the Formats tabyou will find a Format list. Clickon same and select the locale i.e. English.

After you are done with changes, close the weather gadget and re-add the gadgetto the sidebar. If the problem still persists, the only option left is torun a virus scan and spyware scan on your system.
