turn external hard drive into network storage by adapter?

How I can turn external hard drive into network storage using NAS adapter. This adapter lets you plug a USB enabled external drive to one end and then connect an ethernet cable to the other end that runs to the router but do not know the exact method of doing it so please provide me step by step info on this..

I am a network engineer and I will surely help you on this. You can easily use your external hard drive as the network storage adapter. It helps to store the media and other data files direct from your internet to the hard drive. For that choose the network wire that you want to connect through the hard drive and the router. You can choose twisted pair network cable or the fiber cable for the fast transfer of the data. Now recognize the USB port through which you want to connect the external hard drive and the router. Now connect both of them through the network cable. After that connect that through the laptop or the server through which you want to access the internet. Now you are able to store your data and the media files directly to the external drive which is connected with the router. It was really nice to help you on this.
