What is Terminal Services Printing?

I run a small office in Richmond city and recently I have started facing some problems. Actually people from different offices are remoting into my server. They need from QuickBooks to their Local printers. Due to this I have been facing a lot of congestion in my server. Now I need to prevent printing to the printers that are not located in my office. Is there a policy that can allow me to do so? One of my friends suggested me to go for Terminal Services Printing and said it would help me. Can anyone please tell me what is it and how does it work to prevent outsiders pouncing on others network?

Terminal Services printing is enhanced in the Windows Server 2008 by only the addition of the Terminal Services which is easy Print printer driver and a totally Group Policy setting that enables you to just redirect only the default client printer. The Terminal Services is a very Easy Print driver is a feature in Windows Server 2008 that actually enables users to reliably print from the terminal Services RemoteApp program or from a good terminal server desktop session to all the correct printer on their client computer. It also enables users to just have a much more consistent printing experience between a local and a remote sessions. This Redirect only the default client printer policy setting which allows you to specify whether your default client printer is the only printer which is redirected in terminal services sessions. This helps to just limit the number of the printers that the spooler must also enumerate, therefore just improving terminal server scalability.
