Chicago X Gas Mask by Freehand Profit is made out of Nike “Air Jordan X” sneakers. An art out of shoes is pretty interesting and who wouldn’t want to try on this kind of a mask. The mask is set for display at ‘Crossing the Line’ Alumni exhibit (April 14 – May 20) in Corcoran Gallery of Art.

The Graffiti artist Freehand Profit has made many other masks from shoes, Adidas Stormtrooper mask is one of them which had been a viral on the web. All other sneaker heads that the artist made were made from only a single pair of sneaker shoes but the Chicago X Gas Mask was made from two pairs. The mask actually took double a labor then the previous mask heads that the artist built. Jumpman logo which is a signature of Air Jordan can be seen from head to bottom in the mask. The mask also consists of red eye protection and a typical gas mask that has been given a stylish look with a jumpman logo.

It’s a delight to wear this mask as it denotes style and safety. Freehand Profit had to cut his own pair of shoes to make this one. The mask will also be available for sale once the exhibit is over.
