When it comes to ordering food, Pizza is perhaps the world’s favorite meal. Pizza companies have done their best to lure in customers by offering deals like “30 minutes or less delivery time else you get your pizza for free”, discounts on purchase of side orders and purchase upgrades. But customers are often left annoyed when all these deals are monotonously repeated to them while ordering over the phone. The entire process of placing an order for pizza is great for people who like making decisions but for folks who have a single favorite pie, the process can be a real pain in the neck. For folks who have an all-time favorite pizza and those who don’t want to spend eons on ordering the pie, Dubai-based pizzeria Red Tomato Pizza has come up with an ingenious one-step ordering system.

The VIP Fridge Magnet

The pizzeria has created a unique Bluetooth-enabled fridge magnet which allows users to order their favorite pie with the simple push of a button. To use, customers have to buy the magnet, bring it home, pair it with their smartphones, go to the pizzeria’s website, select a pie as default order and then stick the magnet to their refrigerators. Then whenever they feel like having a pie, they can simply walk over to the fridge, flip over its cover, press the button and wait for the pie to be delivered home. It’s as simple as that. And just to make their customers feel even more prized, the company calls this product The VIP Fridge Magnet. Sadly, the service is only available in Dubai at the moment though we’re sure major pizza joints around the world will be rushing to create something similar to this little gizmo very soon.
