Why are my side gadgets for windows xp not working?

I have recently purchased a desktop pc which is inbuilt with windows xp, it is working quite well. But after using it for few days, I have realized that the windows xp side gadgets are not working with windows xp like the clock, weather etc. I am really pissed off because, I am confused what to do, it’s been just four weeks to my new pc and it is giving such issues. If any of you have any information or solution to this problem, please help by sending your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.

It happens sometimes when windows xp side gadgets stop working. There could be any reason behind such a problem of your windows xp. It could be happening due to some virus issue. It could also happen due to some of your OS files may have got corrupted. Or it could be due to recent installation of any software. Yes, there is also expiry dates for gadgets that you have to check out for. You can check for the problem which is occuring. First of all check the status of your antivirus. If it is updated and working very well than try to check for the software that you have recently installed. Then uninstall that software and try to re run the windows. If your gadget resume its services, then it is ok. If still not working then it could be the reason that your OS might be corrupted. For that you have to reinstall the operating system. After that try to install your windows xp side gadgets again and check whether it is working properly or not. I guess this will sort out your problem. I am really glad to help you on this. Enjoy and have a nice day!
