The ‘Show & Tell’ is a magnificent wearable communication tool in form of a glove for individuals with special needs. Developers of the tool Tomer Daniel, Zvika Markfeld and Oleg Imanilov have proposed the glove as a communication tool for hearing-impaired people. They have posted a video (watch it below) to show the functioning of the glove. It works when connected with an Android phone. Simple gestures and movements of your hand wearing the Show & Tell glove will make your phone form contents for texting or emailing, its developers explain.

The glove was first put on display at the Google Developers Day in TEL-AVIV 2011. The tool is meant to work with Android devices only and it comes with ADK Board (Android Open Accessory Development Kit). It also features a Lilypad Arduino, accelerometer, gyroscope sensor and flex sensors on the fingers. Android phone needs to have a custom application to translate the gestures from the glove, which can be connected with the phone via a cable. The tool is exactly like a glove, with it electronics parts stationed atop of the palm.
However, analysts are confused about the requirement of a glove-shaped device to send texts for people with hearing problems. It could have made more sense if the device was to help hearing-impaired interact in real life. It looks like that the device will not specially help a person with hearing problems, because he/she can already send texts using a phone. But the ‘Show & Tell’ is just in prototype mode; so it is too early make a prediction over its usages for an impaired people.
