The history of the robots which has its roots as far back as the ancient myths and the legends. Modern concepts will then begun to be developed when the Industrial Revolution allowed the use of the more complex mechanics and the subsequent introduction of the electricity made if it possible to just power machines with the small compact motors. After 1920s your modern formulation of the humanoid machine was developed to all the stage where it was really possible to just envisage human sized robots with some of the capacity for the near human thoughts and the movements, first envisaged millennia before. The first uses of the modern robots were in the factories as the industrial robots - simple fixed machines which is capable of the manufacturing tasks which just allowed production without the whole need for human assistance. Digitally controlled industrial robots and the robots which is making use of the artificial intelligence which have been built since the 1960s.
