What can I do to run Blackberry Bold application that is showing an error?

I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and I am having trouble trying to get a particular application to run. It’s a cell phone monitoring software. The file transfer apparently went smoothly from my pc to my phone. The installation was also ‘successful.’ However, the app is unable to run. I keep getting an error. I am unable to make any progress with the customer service department for months now, so any help would be greatly appreciated. What can I do to run Blackberry Bold application that is showing an error? Please advice. Thanks.

For starters, you need to check up for the compatibility of the software with your phone e.g. if the software is meant to run on your device or if there are newer releases or alternate versions supported for your phone. In order to do that, you can visit the software vendor's website or try looking up on a search engine.

If compatibility is not an issue, you can try rebooting your phone. To do this you need to switch off your device, remove the battery and re-insert it after a span of 2 minutes. You can restart your phone after this step. This should help the libraries in the firmware and the phone kernel to update as it is a mandatory implicit requirement for certain applications and phones esp. BlackBerry. Some softwares require a security verification process to be performed before they can begin to function properly, hence this premise must be fulfilled.

You could also try re-installing the application directly to your phone by using a network based or a wi-fi connection. You might also want to check the BlackBerry App World for the most latest version of the application as it contains softwares, only, which your phone would support. This is the most definitive way to get applications on your phone without the need to worry about compatibility issues. Hope this information helps!
