rip dvd in mac os x using handbrake?

I need some info on how to rip dvd on my mac with the help of HandBrake to make MPEG-4 format files. Handbrake is a ripper for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later versions. I want to convert all my files into MP4 format for storage and playback on my iPod and Apple TV. So tell me how to go about it? I would appreciate it

If you have a sixth-generation iPod (iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod classic) an iPhone, a Zune or some other players, one of the things you probably want to do is put movies on it. After all, the movies really look great on the iPod, and is much easier to carry than a laptop or portable DVD player.

The problem is that commercial DVDs are copy protected, which means that you can "tear" in iTunes, how can a music CD. So you need a special tool that removes this copy protection as it extracts the video content, if this tool can convert video into a format suitable for playback on your iPod, iPhone or other players, even better. (And by the way, I'm not talking about movies you've rented or borrowed, I'm talking about movies that really counts.)

My favorite tool to perform this task is iSkysoft DVD Ripper. Some people may use the parking brake because it is free. But using HandBrake requires you to choose the right settings, so some people have found frustrating, after all, given the lengthy process of converting a DVD to a iPod-ready movie can be, it's a hassle to get all the way to the final only to discover that your video file will not play on their players.
ISkysoft DVD Ripper makes the process easier, unlike handbrake, which requires choosing a number of different scenarios, such as video size, frame rate, bit rate, audio sample rate, video and formats audio, etc, makes all the option for you: The resulting video file is automatically the screen size using compression settings that are a good compromise (size vs. quality) for observation. That will connect and convert all the titles or chapters you want to convert a file.

Using iSkysoft DVD Ripper could not be easier. Insert the DVD-one of his own, of course, and then start the application, Click Load DVD button, browse your computer, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard drive or DVD-ROM , open the DVD folder, select the VIDEO_TS folder and click OK.Select an output format drop-down list format. Just select an format according to the device you want to. Click Rip ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait. Seriously, video compression and conversion is a slow process. When the conversion is complete, simply drag the resulting file into iTunes (if you want to put DVD on iPod), and the next time you sync, the movie will be copied to the iPod.
