How to resolve touchpad problem on VAIO?

Recently I bought the Sony VAIO E-series laptop, I have had a series of problems with the touchpad of the laptop. The problem includes uneven cursor movements and problem with mouse buttons which is not working properly. I talked to the Sony people and they advised me to reinstall the driver which I did for a couple of times now but it didn’t help me even a bit. After a series of such problems I even got the motherboard replaced by Sony once and even this did not help me. Anyone else had similar experiences? I have also scanned my system for Malwares, viruses etc but nothing was found.

I was facing the same problem two months before when my Sony VIO touch pad stop working. You don’t have to worry a lot about it. For removing the problem completely you have to check your touchpad driver if it is working. If not then just uninstall your touchpad driver. After that restart your system. Try to reinstall the driver of your touchpad again. If the software is installed completely then restart the system again and check if your Sony laptop touchpad is working. Or you can download new Sony touchpad.temp software from any of the free software providing web sites and try to install that. If the problem still continues after that, then there must be an internal problem. You have to contact customer care for that. Hope these information comes good for you.
