How to resolve a problem of password expiration in windows ?

This is a common problem in windows as the password expiresin Microsoft windows without any prior notification. This problem may occur ifthe user logs on to a Microsoft Windows 2000-based domain from a Windows XPProfessional-based computer on which the user has previously logged on, and theuser's password will expire in the specified expiry period. But in order tomake it work again click on Start Orb>Search box>cmd when cmd appears inresults above, right-click and choose "Run as administrator" thentype Stop the Password Expiration - at the command prompt type: net accounts/maxpwage:unlimited [enter]. After that you will get a message box: “Thecommand completed successfully” and then you can close the command prompt…..hopeit helps
