How to reset bios password for hp elitebook 2730p notebook?

I have a hp elitebook 2730p notebook.Some time back I changed password for my bios and went on an vacation. I came back and could n't seem to remember what it was. TO add. it is on my bios/ I feel really stupid about this. Could anyone pls help me reset the BIOS password on an EliteBook 6930p I can't access the BIOS settings screen bytheway because its password protected. I tried many things which were on the internet but they were all confusing for me.

Hi, There are many ways you can reset bios password for hp elitebook 2730p notebook, as I have also faced a same problem and I tried doing the steps that I have mentioned below.You need to turn off the unit. After turning off the unit Remove the unit battery and the RTC battery and leave the unit for about 30 -45 minutes. After completing 30-45 min power on the unit with AC adapter for 3-5 seconds.NowConnect both the batteries and power on the unit.I hope it will work for you and you you still face any problem feel free to ask us.
