How to repair .net framework?


Hi all, I need to repair the installation of the .NET Framework to upgrade my operating system because the current installation of the .NET Framework has been corrupted. So, I need to know how can I repair .net framework. Kindly give me a step by step procedure by which I can repair it easily as I am not that much into techie so kindly make it simple so that I don’t face any problem while doing repair for it. Your help will be appreciated.

These are the following steps to repair the .NET Framework installation: 1. To start with, first obtain the original installation source. If you downloaded the .NET Framework , download the .NET Framework again. Be sure that you click save to disk. If you have already installed the .NET Framework from a network share, reconnect to that share. 2. Then click Start, click Run, type the following command, and then click OK: N:dotnetframeworkdotnetfx.exe /t:c:temp /c:"msiexec.exe /i c:tempnetfx.msi REINSTALL=ALL ReinstallMODE=vomus". Note Replace N: in this command syntax with the original installation path. If you do not have a C:temp folder on your computer, create one before you run this command. Finally, the Microsoft Windows installer will verify and repair the .NET Framework installation.
