How can I remove "this operation requires elevation"?

Last night I was having some difficult time in installing a program on my laptop which is running on win vista and then suddenly I got a message that read, The requested operation requires elevation. I do not know what does this even signify and what I can do to avoid it? Do I need to take it seriously?

In modern operating systems like Win Vista and Win 7 the User Access Control does not permit the installation of a program in silent mode by the members of the Administrator group. It is bound to default administrator.Hence it exhibits a faulty message namely "this operation requires elevation" .Now this problem can be solved through installation of your software in the system account. This can be done by removing the "Run as User" option. This problem cannot be solved without turning off the User Access Control. To disable the User Access Control first of all select Control Panel. From thereon go in User Account. There an option"Turn User Account Settings On or Off" will be displayed which needs to be clicked on.After that you need to uncheck the checkbox by the name of Use User Account Control to protect your computer and then click the OK button.Close the Control Panel and restart your system. Now the program will run for both the administrator or the user.In case your Win Vista demands a password then you are supposed to give a valid password. However It is not recommended to turn the User Access Control off for the protection of the computer.
