I have tried system, administration, synaptic manger, but there are many files with Google gadgets. Is there any way to remove the Google search gadget at the bottom of the sidebar on Google desktop? I am providing you the whole procedure. Go to the top left of your internet explorer toolbar, and then just right click on any of the icons which are present there, except for the wrench icon. Google Apps are just required to have one uninstall prompt in your context menu. Log in to the Gmail account, and then just click on the gear icon which is present in the top left. Click on your gadgets tab, click on your radio button near the gadgets and then select remove. Click anywhere to just return to Google. Navigate to the iGoogle page and then look for icons there in the top right of your Gadgets which resemble downward pointing triangles. Click on these and then select the delete this Gadget option which is used to remove each gadget individually.
