Hie!! I need information about remote windows media player. I want to control my window media player by a remote control. Any clue? Please explain in detail what are other things required to do the same. I read on net somewhere that transceiver or infrared receiver is required to connect. If you really wish to control the Windows Media player with a remote control, there is an optional Windows Media player remote control that is required. If your computer does not have a TV tuner, an optional analog or digital TV tuner is required to record and play TV in Windows media player. There are multiple different category available of the Windows Media player remote control with the variety of choices to make. The remote control may come with the Windows Media player computer that you have purchased or it can also be purchased at some retail locations. You need a transceiver or infrared receiver for the Windows Media player remote control to work properly. This can be the IR- infrared receiver, that is usually connected by a USB cable to the computer, or it can also be a non IR products like radio frequency or Bluetooth. This receiver might be internal or an external to the computer. Please refer to your hardware documentation to determine that which version of receiver you will probably need.. thank you..
