Hi, I appreciate your question and I had a fun while researching on your question. After research I have found that Samsung bada is a smartphone platform or you can say operating system, which is created to support wide range of device, unveiled in 2010. Bada is a Korean word which means "seashore" and "ocean". As meaning suggest it can accommodate the various applications created by developers and also it provides an interesting new space that offers unprecedented enjoyment to its users. History of bada Samsung bada has a very long history of 10 years. To make the proprietary platform of Samsung smarter, developers added exciting features such as multipoint-touch, an enhanced UI, 3D graphics and also, application downloads and installation, that's why bada was born. Features of bada Although bada supports a different range of devices, bada is powerful enough to migrate your imagination into powerful applications. With high end devices like Wave and Wave II , bada fully utilizes the hardware support for the ultimate application support. Additionally with medium range or low cost models, it also provides powerful features for better application experiences and support.Features such as plenty of flash support, UI controls and sensors support help applications to be more interactive and effective. Service-centric features such as in-app-purchasing, SNS integration help applications to offer customers a richer, more interactive experience. Limitations of bada 1. The bada platform doesn't support multitasking, at least not between downloaded applications. Local applications (installed) can multitask with one bada application at a time. 2. In bada when an app pops to the front, or drops to the back, there's an event notification, but there's no mechanism for the application itself to request foreground status.
