Protective Parents: A baby stroller that ‘handles’ things a bit differently!

If you always wondered what being ‘over-protective’ is, then here is a picture that shouts out a thousand words. This mod of a baby stroller comes from Robbie Cooper, whose wife is two weeks away from giving birth to the couple’s first child. Being a protective parent from Texas, Robbie decided to take care of the protection issues in the traditional fashion by hooking up a couple of guns to the stroller instead of the handle bars. Not a bad addition, we might say and while this might be worth a good chuckle, it also reflects in a sense the way we are relaying on a perpetual arms race to keep ourselves safe.

Of course, Robbie might not have been thinking about global politics and the amount we spend annually on weapons we are most likely never going to use, but just about adding a unique touch to his baby’s first stroller. It sure is going to keep a few people away from pinching his cheeks till they go all red or those that constantly annoy kids by talking gibberish nonsense. And while we are not familiar with laws of the state, apparently Texas has no problem with this modified stroller as long as the guns are not loaded. That seems like a fair call to us!

If this is the case in Texas imagine what strollers need to be like in Afghanistan and the Middle East with constant volatile conditions. Maybe a trip of the armored tank counts as a stroll there!
