Microsoft Launches Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 in 2003. Aspects of the mouse from side to side movement as well as usual up and down the scroll wheel. Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 is a right mouse only, and fits well with Mac OS X and Windows XP and OS2000. Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 Common problems contain error messages displayed throughout the facility, the problems of the scroll wheel and receiver-to-mouse connection problems.

Problems with scroll wheel
1. As a scroll wheel does not actually cause any problems, the displacement of an application can be erratic, if "horizontal scrolling speed" is set faster.
USB problems
2. As Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 is a wireless mouse that connects to the PC via USB receiver, its performance is slower than wired mice. The slower connection causes problems when playing PC games, and when working on a multimedia project that requires precision pointing and clicking.

A-Mouse Receiver problems
3. Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 must be synchronized with a USB receiver to work. Because the radio frequency (RF) connection and normal interference in a home, a receiver-a-mouse range is only 6 1 / 2 feet. The user must also be careful not to place the receiver near electronic devices, or the mouse can not communicate with the receiver.

Installation Issues

4. In Windows 7 or XP, the PC may report error messages when installing IntellimouseExplorer 2.0. These error messages contain "USB Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer has not passed Windows logo testing to confirm its compatibility with XP" and other error messages from the driver. The driver software contains a file named "Ipfilter.ini." A software installation Ipfilter.inf corrupted files and not make these error messages happen.
