Why is there a problem importing my character in dragon age awakening on Xbox 360?

I just got yesterday night and it said I need 6.5MB to save. I need an update to play game then it was at 23MB after update, then when I started new game it said I couldn't save? Whenever I try to import the character it tells me the save file is corrupt. I have tried this with multiple characters and after erasing dragon age off my hard drive and starting over still with no avail. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it. All help will be appreciated.

The only thing you can do with it is to start DA:O, and load that particular character you must be knowing that character, just load the final auto saved game, and then just go to the camp and save it again, and then try to import that new saved game. If this does not work, and even you have tried everything else which was recommended to you as said, the saved game, as in the entire character may be , as somehow corrupted, and as i guess you will have to start a new character said earlier.

Thee player has the optioon to either import hiss or her character from the main game or sstart overr as a Warden from Orlais: a whole new orrigin. If a new character is created, the sttory fromm the main game is set to a default ending. iIf the character is imporrted, the story iin Awakeening will continue from that determined byy the player in Origins and the charactter will retain hiis or her attributes, skills, spells etc. as welll as certain equipment. The expansiion continuees the story, including five new recruitable pparty members and Oghren from Draagon Age: Origiins, new spells and abilities, a raiise in the level cap, new enemies such as thhe Inferno Goolem and the Queen of the Blackmaarsh, and new items.
