how to print screen in Windows using an Apple keyboard?

My friend gave me his apple keyboard when my keyboard stopped working so I am using it on my win7 based desktop. But there are certain things I found missing on apple keyboard and one of them is the Print Screen button. Macs handle this differently and there is no one button to complete the task. So tell me is there any way by which I can use this print screen command?

1 Way:

Actually Mac and Windows , keyboard are different. Mac keyboard dont have F13 i.e. Print Screen button. So , to us this print screen feature of windows , you can use virtual keyboard provided by microsoft . Click on Start ; Go to All program> Accessories> Ease of Access and then click on On-Screen Keyboard. And u can use PrtScn button .

2 Way:

You need to remapp the apple keyboard.And to Do that Follow this instructions. and

1. On your windows PC, copy the following lines into a text file.

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlKeyboard Layout]
"ScancodeMap"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,46,E0,5F,00,46,00,5E,00,37,E0,5D,00,00,00,00,00

2. Rename the text file remap.reg.

3. Double click on the file remap.reg and answer yes to the question about adding the information to the registry.

4. Reboot.

Now your apple usb keyboard can work in windows , use F13 button to print-screen on winodws.

3 way:

Under Boot Camp

To do a print screen while running Windows in Boot Camp and using a Mac keyboard, use the keyboard combination: SHIFT + FN + F11
