LG has ventured into the growing Ultrabook market with a super-thin Xnote S330 notebook. The LG Ultrabook, announced in a media event in Korea, enjoys a striking similarity with the Apple MacBook Air. Indeed, as per analysts, LG Xnote with its 13.3-inch display will be a severe threat to MacBook Air 13-inch. Both notebooks have almost similar tech specs and identical price tags. However, LG has not divulged anything about its Xnote S330’s official launch in the U.S. Maybe we can see the Windows 7 notebook early next year.

What’s new?
LG Xnote S330 is a pretty notebook. The most attractive thing with the LG Ultrabook, especially in comparison to MacBook Air, is that it has a small size and slight body. The notebook measures at 315 x 215 x 14.7mm when MacBook Air has the dimensions of 325 x 227 x 17mm. As well, Xnote S330 weighs at just 1.2kg while MacBook Air has a weight of 1.34 kg. The LG Ultrabook sports a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.
Xnote S330 runs on 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 or 1.7GHz Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and built-in memory of 120GB or 256GB SSD. The notebook features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3 port, MicroSD and HDMI-port for connectivity. Intel Wi-Di is another peculiar thing with the laptop. The features will help you stream contents from the notebook to a large HDTV. Many other special features will make the LG notebook a great product and a real challenge to MacBook Air and other Ultrabooks from companies like Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo, Asus and others.
