playing sims 3 without cd using virtual CD?

I was playing sims 3 on my computer using my friend's CD. Now he wants it back. Is there a way for playing sims 3 without cd? I don't want to use a CD anymore. I would prefer a virtual image. Can someone help me how it is done?

Playing computer games like sims 3 , needs a CD but you can do it without CDROM.

Insert CD rom and make it virtual with virtualCD.
