How to open xps hard drive?

Laptop is portable device which has large display screen. Dell xps laptop comes in to this category. It has an attractive appearance which is not present with any other company's laptop.

You have to be careful while assembling it. Every part should be placed correctly otherwise it leads to malfunctioning of your system. Case with replacing the hard drive is same too. Once cover is removed you can have two hard drives on each side of CD rom. Left is called master drive while the right one is called slave drive. You should not touch right drive until it has a problem. While left drive is for OS.

Steps to be followed to replace hard drive for Dell Xps laptop:

1) First of all clear the place so that you can place your laptop very spaciously.

2) Remove the battery so that it should not effect the process.

3) Ground the mother board by pressing the power button for few seconds.

4) Remove the M 3x3 screws form the label "Container".

5) Place the new hard drive in the empty compartment.

6) Replace the mother board, battery carefully.

7) Turn on your laptop. It will be Ok.
