Nikon D4 for demo at CES 12 with 16.2-MP and lash XQD memory card slot

The Japanese camera behemoth Nikon is reportedly to show off its keenly-awaited Nikon D4 at CES 2012. The new camera, certainly a worthy rival to Canon EOS 1DX rival, will be up with a 16.2-megapixel sensor with 11fps, rumor mills report. There have been large rumors over the arrival of Nikon D800 for early next year. Now tech blogs have leaked the specs of D4 saying that it will also come up along with D800 most possibly at PMA@CES 2012 in January.

Nikon D4 will be an incredible digital camera with lots of features and capabilities. As per reports, the camera is expected to equip a 100-102,400 native ISO range, which is expandable to 50 and 204,800. It will also be compatible with the new CompactFlash XQD memory card standard for improved performance. Above all, its 16.2-megapixel sensor with 11fps video capture will make Nikon D4 a special digital camera in stores.

The camera will obviously be compatible with the new Nikon WT-5 wireless transmitter, integrated Ethernet within the camera, face detection and many other advanced features. Face detection function that will work in the viewfinder of the camera will add more strength to the new digital camera from Nikon.

In addition, Nikon D4 will be up with improved video capturing. It may be 1080p/30/25/24 and 720p/60/30/25/24 so like Nikon D800. You can stream uncompressed video from the camera to large TVs or other screens. The camera will have two buttons in front for smooth aperture controlling during video shooting. Improved 51 AF points, AF detection and autofocus system definitely make Nikon D4 a great threat for many high-end digital cameras on market.

According to Nikon Rumors, Nikon D4 is designed to take on Canon EOS 1Dx. The new Nikon camera can certainly grab the hearts of customers, who wish to capture high quality images during their trips and other functions. Nothing is actually known about Nikon D4’s pricing. Less is known even about the Nikon camera’s announcement. Rumormongers just predict that Nikon will display D4 at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. But the company has not yet made anything official about the upcoming digital camera. According to Nikon Rumors, Nikon will launch both D800 and D4 together to reveal the separation between them. Both cameras share the same sensor and technology; however D800 will have high MP count, low fps, low ISO when compared to D4 that has low MP count, higher fps and higher ISO.
