After a spell of developing games aimed at the international market, Japanese video game giants Nintendo have turned their gaze back to their local audience by announcing a new addition to its Pokémon range of titles. Dubbed Pokémon X and Y, the new pocket monster collecting game is aimed at newcomers as well as loyal fans and will offer bunch of new creatures to battle and capture. An all new player perspective and visual design, the new Pokémon adventure will be offered in spectacular 3-D layout that would still be as adorable as the Pokémon Black and White version.
As usual, the pocket monsters are divided by elemental class though the most welcome change in the game has got to be its visual overhaul. The new game was announced by Satoru Iwata, the beloved Nintendo president, who headed a rather nostalgic presentation boasting of the most cherished previous titles in the series and looked back at the popular franchise’s history rather informatively before introducing the new game. Japanese gaming community welcomed the news with open arms with most online message boards buzzing with speculation about the new features and monsters that the game will introduce in the Pokémon universe.
Shortly after the news broke, Pokémon related flooded the topics trending on Twitter though most of them could only speculated about the kind of features that the new game will offer. Sadly for Pokémon enthusiasts, Nintendo is keeping a bulk of info regarding the new game tightly under wraps though all is expected to begin circulating by the time the game is ready to be released around October later in the year. No word on pricing or the exact date of release but those tidbits of information should pop up around gaming blogs soon enough.
