With the day by advent of new advancements in flying objects, many people and firms are working on auto pilots. Virtual Robotix has taken a step closer by showing their world’s most powerful autopilot which is compatible with arduino software, the Multipilot32F4. Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based easy-to-use hardware and software which makes it simple to write and upload code to the input/output board.

Multipilot32F4 was presented at the start of this year, but later some changes were made to its board. The Multipilot32F4 is powered by an ARM Cortex-M4 processor STM32F407VET6 at 168 Mhz. Its other hardware specs include four 16-bit Timers, two Serial Peripheral interfaces and two inter integrated circuits. The power comes by means of DC 30 V (6s Lipo) batteries. It is equipped with a 4 layer printed circuit board and interconnected with professional electronic stability control 1 MBit update rate.
The video below shows first flight video of the VR Multipilot32F4 which is flying quite nicely but thing to watch out is that it is on a windy day by using feedback controller. Multipilot32F4 is ready for beta testing at price of €199. Though it is available and still in production and next stock could be available later this month.
