how to move operating system from old drive to a new drive?

My brother bought a new laptop and he gave his old laptop to me. On old laptop XP Pro is running and has hard drive(C) which is only 10 GB, so I bought and installed a new internal 250 GB drive(F). I want to transfer all my content from that small C drive to the new F drive and then make the new E drive my main drive but do not know anything about doing this. So tell me how to move operating system from old drive to a new drive

Hey! I will love to help you on this. The partition of a hard drive is really a complicated process. You can easily perform the partition of your hard drive by following the following steps. You want to create a new drive from the F drive which has got a vast storing capacity of 250 GB. First of all format the F drive by storing the important data on any other drive. Now right click on the F drive. An option will appear of the disk partition. Single click on that. Now your whole disk space will be shown there. Now select the amount of space that you want to give to the new drive. After that click on the set option. Now processing will start. After some time your new drive will be generated. It is ready to use now. You can store all the data now from any of the drive. It was really nice to help you.
