Is there any way to move office 2010 msocache file?

My c drive of 40 gb hard disk is full so I want to make space by moving office 2010 msocache file to d drive. When I ran tree size I noticed that the MSOCache for office 2010 file was 1.2GB. This file is hidden in folder located in C:MSOCache. So is there any way to move it other drive?

Local Install Source is a Setup feature that copies the install source files and the other setup and .dll files from your Microsoft Office 2010 installation media to the Msocache folder. This is a hidden folder on your local hard disk, so is not visible.

The installation files and the other source files will be copied from the MSOCache folder to your desired hard drive location only if.

There is a free space of atleast 1.5 Gb on your destination folder.

The destination folder is not on a removable drive.

You can use the windows cleanup wizard to move the files and NEVER delete the MSOCache with windows explorer.

The following steps will guide you on how to move or delete the MSOCache from the current location.

1.Open start, select all programs , point to accessories , select system tools , selec disk cleanup.

2. Select drive and from the list of drivers , select C:.

3.The disk cleanup will ask you what files to delete. Select office setup files.

4. Select yes when you are asked to confirm the delete process.
