How to merge documents in word 2003?

I have a collection of poems and stories written in microsoft word 2003. I was thinking of sending them to some Publishing company. Why not give them a try by sending them to people who can publish them. So for that purpose I was thinking of making one merged file for poems and one combined file for stories. I don't really use word too much I just type on it. Please tell me how to merge documents in word 2003?

Hey first of all best of luck and hope that they will select all of your poems to publish. To merge all your files in one combined file is not a difficult task as you just have to follow these easy steps. First of all you have to choose tools menu from the Microsoft Word menu, and here you will find an option for Compare and Merge Documents just click on it and Navigate to the master version and then Click Merge and now you will find all your poems in a single folder. While doing this you have to make sure that your original poems folders should be open as at the time of navigation it will be easy for you.
