What are the alternatives of meebo for office use?

I was using meebo at my office to use the chat options like those of facebook, yahoo chat, gmail chat and other such chatrooms. But now I have seen that meebo no longer works at my desk pc. Probably the IT department has blocked it. I wanted to know the meebo alternatives for office use. I want to remain connected with my friends and my loved ones when I am at my office. And now even my friends think that I am lying to them about this meebo problem. The time it was with me, everything was so cool and I also used to enjoy my work. But now I don't know what to do and again be in contact with my friends. Please help guys.

Meebo is definitely a cool instant messaging web page with features like a meebo bar, minibar and mobile support adding popularity to the application.

Web messenger eBuddy (www.ebuddy.com), started in 2003 is quite as popular as Meebo, supporting AOL, Google Talk, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, MySace and Facebook. It was founded as eMessenger and then rebranded as ebuddy in 2006. The later versions have improved load times and therefore faster communication. eBuddy supports real-time messaging with multimedia and test with eBuddy XMS.

Web messenger KoolIM (http://www.koolim.com/), is compatible with certain unusual chat clients like Jabber/XMPP, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, Lotus Sametime, etc, in addition to AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo etc. Likewise imo.im supports Jabber, Hyves, Steam etc.

ILoveIM, is a similar web messenger, created in 2005 supporting MSN, Yahoo, AIM and GTalk IM networks and social networks like facebook and myspace. LiveGo is a relatively new entry to the scene. A Beta version is available for users to test the application.

All you need to do is choose your chat program and login using the existing credentials. Most web messenger accounts are similar in that, you might require creating a unique id, which will save and identify your linked accounts with the exception of ILoveIM and KoolIM, where a unique ID is not needed.
