How to map a network drive on windows based system?

When I want open a network file I have to type a UNC path (servershare_name) every time I need to access. I use this network frequently and now thinking of mapping this path to one of my drive so that I can access it easily when required. But I do not have any idea of performing this task. So guys tell me how to map a network drive on windows based system.

Log on to your Windows computer. Click on the start, then computer. Right click on Network and then from the drop down list click map network drive. Type the address of the hosted folder in the Folder field for example, if that folder is on the web site, enter the address like mywebsite/pages/myfolder. Check and then connect using the different credentials. Click on the finish. Type the whole network username and the password. This is the correct account that has access to your hosted folder. Click on the ok to just map the drive. this is the whole answer. I hope you liked it.
