The highlight of the camera is the ‘Veau Swift’ calfskin, which has been supplied by Hermes for the special leather finish of the M9-P that you see here. The handcrafted brilliance of the camera helps it stand out from those many modern sleek digital cameras that we see in the market today and its superb finish gives it a look that attracts you almost instantly. The lens and the camera are finished in seamless silver chrome and that really helps it dazzle with understated class.

Designed in collaboration with Walter de’Silva, some of the features of the camera have been custom crafted for the Limited edition series. The Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’ comes in two limited edition sets with the first one offering 300 of these cameras that come along with a single silver anodised lens.

The assorted Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’-Série Limitée Jean-Louis Dumas is far more limited in number with only 100 of these units being released and each one will have three additional lenses and a handcrafted bag from Hermes.
