Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor takes the guesswork out of gardening

Almost everybody loves having plants in their house or office. Sadly, only a few of us know how to take care of them well. Most of us are really not equipped with the nuances of gardening and end up with dead or wilted plants because we haven’t been able to pay enough attention to them and do not know how much water, nutrients or light they need. To take the guesswork out of gardening, Switzerland-based company Koubachi has created this amazing Wi-Fi Plant Sensor. The sensor is designed to measure the amount of light, temperature and moisture that your plants need and can give the user precise feedback on how to keep their plants healthy.

To use, the Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor needs to be placed in a plant for a fortnight to gather the necessary data. The system can then provide accurate instructions for all the plants placed in the area. Next, the system sends alarms and care instructions to the user’s email or smartphone via Wi-Fi allowing users to respond to the plants’ needs in real time.

All the data gathered by the sensors is also stored in cloud storage for free. The system is designed to make gardening an accurate science for people who have little or no experience in taking care of plants. The Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor retails at a price of approximately $104.
