The headphone requires a separate battery to power the noise cancellation system, if the battery runs down, it switches back to normal mode where the user can be disturbed by external noise sources.

The illuminated button which is placed outside the handset that is used to turn the noise cancelling on and off is too small and can cause problems when a user tries using the button. The mode sound happens to be punchy.
