JinXing Digital launches Android 4.0 gaming device in the JDX S5110

Following a 7-inch gaming-friendly Android 2.2 JXD S7100 tablet, the Chinese tech firm JinXing Digital has surfaced a 5-inch portable gaming device. The handheld gaming machine, dubbed the JDX S5110, comes with rich game controllers, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and affluent specs. The case design of the gaming device highly resembles the tablet JinXing Digital unveiled a few months back.

The gaming console sports a 5-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen with enhanced clarity for gaming. Under the cover, the JDX S5110 features a 1GHz Amlogic M3 ARM Cortex A9 CPU, 512MB of RAM and ARM Mali 400 3D graphical card. For data storage, the handheld gaming device has 4GB or 8GB internal storage options plus a microSDHC card slot for additional storage.

JinXing Digital might have designed the gaming machine with an eye at the budget customers. The Ice Cream Sandwich will be the most impressive thing with the JDX S5110, which will ensure a rich gaming experience for users with its 3-point multitouch input option, Wi-Fi 802.22b/g/n and a gravity sensor.

The gaming device further highlights a VGA rear camera for capturing images and HDMI out to let you stream 1080HD video to other devices including TVs and monitors. The gadget measures at 7.7 x 3.4 x 0.7 inches and it has a weight around half a pound.

JinXing Digital also avails rich game content on its upgraded handheld gaming machine. It comes preloaded with many titles such as Nintendo 64, Sega MegaDrive, GameBoy Advance and many others. It also supports Android games. JinXing has not yet revealed anything about the device’s price and availability.
