How to deal with iTunes 7.7 problem?

I am really out of my mind for this problem. I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.7 on my white Macbook 2.2ghz. Now all my id3 tags are messed up. Part of my music library is in iTunes and part of it is a generic folder. The id3 tags are fine for all the songs in the generic folder. However, every song that is in iTunes has the id3 tags messed up. The current version of id3 tags is v2.2. I have also re-scanned the hard drive to rebuild the database. But this didn’t work out. Need your help.

Asa owner of digital media player application, iTunes has become a part of ourdigital life. It is broadly used for playing and put in order digital music andvideo files. The powerful iTunes is also an interface to manage the contents onApple's iPod and iphone lines, as well as the iPad. I also had FLAC files thatI wanted to play in ITunes 7.7. I used Media Monkey to burn them to CD, andthen import them into ITunes 7.7. The basic version is free and unrestricted, and can convert FLAC to other audio formats. You will lose quality convertingFLAC to .wma, MP3, or AAC, although you might not hear the disparity if youchoose a high bitrates. FLAC is a loss less format, so if you want to hold thefull quality you should use another lossless format such as Apple Lossless orWAV.
