How to improve computer performance that has Windows Vista?

By following few guidelines/tips, you can easily increase performance of your computer and make it run smoothly.

1. You must remove the spyware as spyware collects your personal informations without taking your permissions. Spyware slows down the performance of the computer.

2. You must clean-up the unwanted disk-space. You can do this by removing temporary internet files, emptying the recycle bin, deleting the installed programs that are no longer in use. To clean disk-space, do the following :

a. Goto Start Menu >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Disk-Clean.

b. In options choose that if you want to clean your files or computer ones.

c. In the Disk-Clean: Drive Selection dialog box appears >> hard disk drive that

d. Click the Disk Cleanup, and then select the check boxes fields for the files you want to delete.

e. When you complete selecting the files you want to delete, click OK, and , to confirm the operation, click Delete files. Disk Cleanup removes all unnecessary files from your computer. This may take a some time.

3. You must detect disk errors and repair it.

4. You can use ReadyBoost to increase performance. It means adding memory to system, you can use non volatile memory like memory card and you can increase the performance.

5. Try all remedies mentioned above. If you still has problems in performance, you should upgrade Windows7.
