From where can I get a usb video driver for my canon video camera?

I bought a canon video camera and very excited to use it. I just wanted to know where I can get a free USB video driver for my canon video camera. Although I got drivers with it but I don’t know where I left them, I have searched whole of my room but don’t know where it has lost. I wonder if you can provide any web link to get free of cost. I myself tried to search in internet but some of them I found were taking charges for the software. But I don’t want to pay any single penny so I would expect from you to give some free link!!

If you are looking for updated drivers to transfer mini DV tape based video from your camcorder using USB,you won't find those. You need to stopusing USB and install a fire wire card in your computer unless you already havea fire wire port installed and transfer using the camcorder's DV port with a Firewire, i.Link - all the same thing cable. USB won't work. For editing video, the camcorder needs to bein Play mode and Movie Maker will "Capture" the video and import itto your computer over the fire wire connection. And last it is easilydownloadable from net and it comes for trial version and for full version youhave o pay some money.
