HTC myTouch 4G : Price, Review and Specifications

The call quality of the myTouch 4G is excellent, no distortion or call errors can be heard, only clear sound. Calls can be done over Wi-Fi, speakerphone quality is not so good and the video calling quality is bad, a second-generation 1GHz Snapdragon processor makes application respond fast and multimedia perform better. Battery works just fine with 1400mAh talk time of 6.7 hours and up to 10 days of standby time.

myTouch 4G has a unique design and is different than rest of the myTouch family, 4G has round corners with a good soft finish, featuring stainless steel parts in some instances the 4G gives a very stylish look. The handset is somewhat heavy with 5 oz and is pocketable with 4.8 inches height, 2.4 inches of breadth and 0.4 inch thickness, Swype keyboard is installed and if you don’t like it you can switch on to a regular keyboard. 5-7 home screen panels can fit inside a 3.8 inch WVGA touch screen and the camera is 5 MP with 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, and LED flash. Below the display screen there is a trackpad, and shortcut buttons which are home, back and menu. But instead of a search button you get a Genius button which is to activate voice command application for making calls, messaging, searching the web or launching applications with your voice.

Left side of the set features a volume button and a Micro-USB port, on the right side of the handset is a camera button and on the top is a 3.5 mm jack for headphone. The back side has camera and flash and the front camera is VGA above the screen on the right.

MyTouch 4G runs on Android platform 2.2(Froyo) which can be upgraded to 2.3, the internal memory is 4GB and it can support up to 32GB of expansion, the device supports DLNA which means you can stream content from your phone to any device which  also supports DLNA.

A powerful sleek and stylish phone which has best functionality in terms of multimedia and performance. Very good and fast processing with 1GHz Snapdragon processor, the camera quality is good for the people who are not professional but love clicking photographs. Only one feature which it lacks in is the video call which is not at all clear and also does not process properly.
