The Windows 8 era is all set to dawn and HP has taken the lead over its rivals by launching the latest OS from Microsoft with its ENVY 20 and 23 TouchSmart PCs. The all-in-one PCs are powered by IIIrd-gen Intel "Ivy Bridge" processors which helps the devices remain compact while providing all-in-one functionality. The units are fronted by 20- and 23-inch displays with 1,920 x 1,080p resolution. Both the displays are made of flush glass which allows users to make the most of the 10-point touch-enabled screen.

To bring the full Windows 8 experience to its users, the PCs come laden with options like the HP Connected Suite which comes with features like Backup, Music, Photo, Remote, TrueVision webcam and Beats Audio.

The Connected Suite will allow users to make use of features like remote access, music streaming and photo sharing via mobile and desktop apps. The full touchscreen all-in-one PCs come with a nifty removable panel at the back which will allow tinker-happy users to view and modify the hardware on the all-in-one PCs as they like.
The suggested retail price for the 23-inch ENVY TouchSmart PC is expected to be around the $1099 range while the 20-inch ENVY TouchSmart PC would retail for a suggested price of $849. Both the PCs are scheduled to hit HP stores on October 23, 2012.
