Which are the best handheld GPS for remote areas like forests or mountains?
I have a Magellan Roadmate 1400 that I use on trips for rental cars. Apparently T.S.A (when we went through security) removed our instruction booklet. Where can we order a new book? Also, we have property in the rain forest of Oregon. Because of the large trees, 200 ft and higher and being close together, we cannot get bearings on our G.P.S. Does Magellan have a hand-held G.P.S. that would work here? If not, then which are the best handheld GPS for remote areas like forests or mountains? I would really appreciate your useful information regarding this. Thanks.
