Hack me in Installer v0.7?

There is a news about new hack me v0.7b which has small bug fix in the installer itself. There are lots of changes and improvements went into its release. There are some nice features along with increasing the compatibility with even more Wiis. So what I am interested in knowing is its advanced features over previous version? Thanks

I have just uploaded v0.7b of the installer. The only difference is a small bugfix in the v0.7b installer itself, and very few people had gone into this. If you could successfully install either The Homebrew Channelor BootMii, there is not necessary to reinstall again, both are being unchanged compared to v0.7b. If you had problems before, please try again with this version. The download links and the integrated update feature in HBCitself have been updated for this bugfix.

After more than one month we believe we’ve finally reached the destination for the next public release of the HackMii Installer: v0.7.

A lot of changes, new look and improvements went into this release. After quite some ectic and headaches and a few puzzles we stockpiled over 250 comments since v0.6, increasing the compatibility with even more and more Wiis.

The installer now works completely differently, The Homebrew Channel got a few features and gave a new look, and BootMii received a fair and good amount of minor improvements too.

Next to the usual minor fixes, these are the changes worth mentioning:

HackMii Installer (v0.7)

  • New methods of exploit to enable (un-) installation of all components on fully updated Wiis (up to, and including System Menu v4.3).
  • Proper guidance for all regions, including KOR.
  • General overhaul views: the installer requires BootMii/IOS to function/run. It will automatically be installed upon startup – either ifBootMii/IOS is not installed or if it is olderto tat of newer version than the version release comes with.
  • DVDX died a horrible death. Rumor has it that someone dropped a bottle on its head.
  • Additional/extra installer binary bootmini.elf has been added, see the included README.txt in the installer for more infos see the previous versions.
