Why is my GPS not turning on when I mount it in my car?

I just purchased a Garmin 2595LMT. First I don't see in the manual how to turn it on. I had mounted it in the vehicle and when I started the vehicle it turned on. Next time I started the vehicle, it would not turn on. Finally I brought it in the house and plug it into the charge cord. At first it would not turn on. After about 5 minutes it turned on. Put back into vehicle and went thru the same cycle again. Why is my GPS not turning on when I mount it in my car? What can I do to fix the problem? Please advice. Thanks.

First, make sure that your Garmin 2595LMT device is auto-turn on or not. If you see that your GPS device is not tuning on automatically, then you have to read the manual of the device for making sure your conviction. Even, after reading the manual of your GPS device, you could not power on the auto-turn on a feature then it is sure that your device has not any auto-turn on a feature. Actually, you bought the device without this feature. If possible, you may replace this GPS device with a new one. It is also necessary to check your GPS device, whether it is working well or not. Another point to consider, that the location of your car where you are mounting your GPS device is very important. Because, if the mounting place is wavy or course, then your GPS device may not work well. The reason is that any GPS gadget works well on a flat surface, whether it is windshield or flat dashboard. Sometimes, it may be possible that the very hot interior of your car may malfunction your GPS device. It is true that any GPS device needs open air and there should have no obstruction around it. So, it will work well. You should use your GPS device in the unobstructed atmosphere in order to get the maximum benefits from it.
