Why is my GPS choosing Google maps as default navigation software?

I have a Samsung galaxy s2, when I started voice talk and told it to navigate to a destination, the first time it gave me an option to choose either Navigon mobile GPS, or Google maps. I chose Google maps, and now it always defaults to Google maps. Why is my GPS choosing Google maps as default navigation software? How can I change it back to either give me a choice every time to set the default navigation software? I went to 'Manage applications,' but couldn’t find any preset defaults there. Please advice. Thanks.

Actually, Samsung has a pact with Google's technology, so that you get the Google Maps as the default navigation software in your mobile phone. According to the pact, Samsung will have to use Google Maps for all Samsung smartphones as the default navigation software. Samsung can use the other navigation software unless Samsung has a treaty with Google. However, as far as performance is concerned, Google Maps is working well in the smartphone world today. Its report is satisfactory. It is also popular among the smartphone users. It is true that the most of the navigation software work well in Google Maps. Maybe it takes a little of more time at the initiation stage then. It runs smoothly. It observed that Samsung smartphone synchronize well with the Google Maps without any trouble. Because Samsung is making the smartphone according to the specification of the Google Maps. If you unconsciously chose the Google Maps as the default navigation software for your Samsung smartphone, then it is sure that you chose the right navigation software for your smartphone. There is no doubt about it. Therefore, you can navigate your GPS locations through it accurately even there is any obstruction comes to its way.
